I’m a small business owner, a husband of over 20 years, and a father of four. Those roles shape how I see every issue, I understand what it means to work hard, raise a family, and plan for the future.
I’ve served in the Montana Legislature in both the House (2017, 2021) and the Senate (2023, 2025).
In the Legislature, I’ve focused on protecting individual freedom and supporting small businesses and working families. During COVID, I supported efforts to limit government overreach in emergencies and return more decision-making back to individuals and families.
I believe decisions are best made as close to the people as possible. I believe in individual rights, personal responsibility, and keeping government accountable to the people it serves.
Energy is essential, and the Public Service Commission has to balance reliable service with fair rates.
Utilities need to be financially stable to keep delivering power safely and consistently. At the same time, families and businesses deserve reasonable, transparent prices.
The PSC sets rates, but affordability is also shaped by broader energy policy. Having worked in the Legislature, I understand how those decisions connect, and why coordination matters.
My approach is simple: keep utilities strong enough to provide reliable service, keep rates fair for consumers, and focus on practical solutions that serve Montana families.
